About the Place:

Kotebetta Peak at 1620 mts is the third highest peak in Coorg and is surrounded by jungles, streams and plantations. This is a classic hill and jungle trek passing through different terrains and with the unique experience of camping at beautiful site. Kotebetta is the third highest peak in Coorg and the trek passes through villages, coffee and spice plantations initially. Later we will enter thicker forests and some rocky surface. Once we reach the peak we see the amazing views of the shoal forests and Western Ghats. We would have lunch on the top of the hill and interested people can also visit the small shiva temple atop the hill. An hour of ridge walk on top of the mountains after lunch will give ample opportunity for some lovely shots of the hills and forests. We reach our campsite ( village home and tent camping ) and later campfire and dinner.
